Description
I helped a friend of mine, , at school model some of her puppets and such last week for a photoshoot. Afterwards, she gave me copies of the photos and said I could upload them here, so I am!Here, I'm modeling here prototype digitigrade stilts. They were pretty fun to walk in, though I did have some unbalanced moments! lol

STILTS OF THIS VARIETY WOULD BE FANTASTIC FOR AN AT-ST COSPLAY

I didn't make these, so I don't know much about how they work, sorry! I was just modeling with them for a friend of mine.

Now that's awesome, but doesn't that bother your feet after a while and aren't they heavy too?

My friend just made them as an experiment, I think she was planning to refine the design later

Well it's a good start. I've been lookin at this photo and using part of it as a base for my design.. I haven't had time to make it though.
I hope you and your friend are doing alright ^^

This is awesome. By the way, this how Ni'var people in my Great Venture story project walk in home due to their digitigrade legs. Out in the public, they usually wear boots specially designed for their feet in order to maintain the proper balance.

Looks interesting, I could see that working in an animal suit, but it looks sufficiantly difficult to walk in. What was it like?

It was kind of hard to walk in them but from what I could tell they were a test model and the girl who made them was going to be working on improving them.
