Description
these remind me of childhood.twisting these off branches and collecting the most interesting ones.
swinging in the woods behind our house on "monkey vines."
hunting for caterpillars to keep as pets.
running in the grass barefoot.

Taking a natural element that grows while following no special pattern to represent memory references at the same time to the time that passes. While the texture and colors used are somewhat stereotyped for this theme, it is nonetheless very accurate for it. It also gives the impression that the vine is a metal wire: it plays with the "twist", making us unsure of what we are seeing or remember. The point of view of the object, from where we see a change of direction in the vine, reflects again the mind and those memories which deviated from their original way. Because of all this, this piece illustrates perfectly not only memory, but the theme of time that is inevitably related to it.

Wonderful photograph and comments. It also makes me think of the "wire sculptures" done by children in third world countries... Universal memory here!

That's great, I love the field-of-depth on this one. Photos that contain memories are the best once.
