Raggedscar sighed as he approached the small brown apprentice. The large deputy stopped abruptly in front of Batpaw, glaring down at him for a moment before giving him a small warm smile. "Hello Batpaw." Raggedscar meowed managing a soft voice, "From now on until you receive your warrior name I will be your mentor" He said before he lowered himself and touched his nose to Batpaw's forehead. After a pause he pulled back and stood tall, "I expect great things from you."

When the large tom finally pulled back the apprentice managed a fearful gulp, and replied in a squeaky voice "I-i'll try my best haha..ha." He hadn't once thought he would be the apprentice of theisrugged cat, not mention deputy. He grinned at raggedscar with his two bottom canines pointing, and his hair sticking up in the air.
