Description
A slightly more happy (and shoujoai-ish) take on the ending of Elfen Lied. I was going to add more blood to Lucy's wound, but I thought it would ruin the fuzzy mood

Lucy: "I want you to go back to Kouta and the others. Do something I couldn't do..."
Nana: "Lucy...Are you...?"
Lucy: "As much as I hate to admit it, you deserve it..."
Nana: "Huh?..."
Lucy: "I've done so much terrible things...that looking at you...makes me sick at myself even more..."
Nana: "I can't forgive you for what you done...But I really am sorry..."
Lucy: ?
Nana: "I never realized how terrible the labs were to you. I was trying to impress Papa that I never thought about how you feel. I really am sorry...maybe if I understood more..."
Lucy: "Are you an idiot? I tore all of your limbs and your the one apologizing?"
Nana: "(Sobbing) I don't see you apologizing..."
Lucy gets caught off guard. She hesitates to say anything, then she lowers head, then finally speaks. "Sorry...For everything...I don't deserve happiness compared to you...After all, you suffered as much as I did..."
Nana wipes away her tears. "Lucy..." Lucy walks away. "Where are you going?"
Lucy: "To make amends...You, do as your Father told you, and be happy..." Lucy walks away, never to be seen again from Nana's eyes. Despite their differences, they made ammends, after all, they were more similar then they think.
Yeah, this is how I thought their last encounter could have been. Considering that Nana is my favorite character and one of the most important characters in my opinion, I felt she could have a more satisfying conclusion with her arch nemesis. So yeah, nice art, still good after 10 years.

I'm Death-Ark, weird name I know, but at least it's original. I like your take on the ending of Elfen Lied. Very cute, cute even for two brutal girls such as Nana and Lucy. Nicely done!
