I almost did a pic of these two way back when they first appeared in 2011, but like a lot of WIPs it was abandoned. But naturally, their recent appearances in 'The Snowmen' and it's assorted tie-ins gave me another burst of motivation, and here we are

I am actually watching 'A Good Man Goes to War' right now and the little scene in the military base that happens between Vastra and Jenny had me searching both fanfiction.net and here for both of them.
This picture is beautiful and intimate. I love the details and shading, especially (and I don't know if it was on purpose or not) but the shading on Jenny's sleeve that almost looks like Vastra's scales. Can't wait to see more.

fantastic work, especially on the textures. Lady Vastra was one of my favorite characters, ever since "A Good Man Goes to War." I was glad to see them bring her and Jenny back in for "Snowmen" and be more open about their relationship!

I really like how this turned out! I saw the WIPs on tumblr but when I saw the final product I was very impressed! You did a great job with the lighting and the snow!

I really liked the chemistry of the two, plus Strax.
There should REALLY be a spin off with these three. Would be so much better than Torchwood, which I have yet to see, or sara jane adventures.
You can't beat lesbian lizardwoman, cute girl, and talking war potato.
Though in the Snowman... EVERY single close up of Strax's head I could see the mold where the front and back came together. Pissed me off to NO end.
