Welp, it's finally done!The line-art for this was done about a year ago, and I have to admit, I would have made a few changes had I done it now (of course I didn't really think about this until I was too far gone with it to change)
For the KP fans out there, Kim's wearing a redesigned version of her mission gear. An important note is that I actually envisaged her wearing a jacket over the top on most missions, to mirror the long sleeves her in-show outfit had.
As for Shego, while that suit did start out as a revamp of her catsuit, as you can plainly see, it now resembles some sort of armor. So now I'm going with that being her own version of an improved battlesuit - meaning you can picture it in blue and white for Kim's version.
So, at some point I'll do a pic that features some proper standard mission clothes for Shego, and Kim's new outfit with the jacket.
Either way, it was some great practice doing a more realistic take on some heavily stylised cartoon characters.

Shego's battlesuit's great! Looks like something straight out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Kimmie, however, has a MASSIVE weak spot at her midsection. Oh, and arms.
I mean, seriously, for a superheroine, you'd think she'd wear something a bit more all-over protective, such as, IDK, a supersuit!?
Honestly! Many people who draw/cosplay as heroines and villainesses always dress them in at least partially revealing suits, completely forgetting the reason whyΒ these fighters wear suits in the first place.

my first thought was Netherealm Studios redesigns of the DC heroes in Injustice. And Mortal Kombat. When i saw the pic in full size i was incredibly impressed. Very well done!

Wow...just wow. ...Now that I'm getting over my shock at the ability displayed, I was thinking that Shego needed a serious revamp of her tired and somewhat tacky catsuit...and this is very near what I was thinking, so thanks for taking the stress out of mulling over the re-design. Now I can sleep easier at night.

Honestly, looking at these designs, these are kinda how I'd imagine the characters if they were given a makeover "Arkham City" style. Kim looks the most familiar to her original pre-season 4 design, only a little older, showing more skin (at least here) and having her top look like it's made out of something other than cloth. And I LOVE that Kim has abs and toned muscles, it really does sell the whole "action girl" part of her character so well.
And Shego, well, her design is clearly a bit more unique, but I can see several areas that do bear similarities to her traditional look (she's still got that pouch, which I have no idea what she keeps inside, on her ankle for one). The colours are very nicely broken up across her suit, I suppose helping to look less "cartoony", and I really like the whole feel of it overall. And I gotta say, you've created her plasma flame very nicely here.

With Kim's missions, she should at least have a toned body. Not too much but not too little. And Shego's new suit I love. Maybe Drakken's finally given her a decent wage.

You did an amazing job making these girls (more) appealing to adult fans (well, at least me. LOL). And the redesigns are great both in the anatomy and the suits. I want to see what wonders you can work on Kim's white suit, if you ever work on such a piece.
