Very neat. I've never seen them get in the water like this in UV. I don't find it a surprise that they're training Malia for water work already; she's really smart and performs so much at such a young age!

I really like this one!
It is so different from most orca shots out there... I'd love to see more like it in the future! I've never really had the chance to take photos of an orca and trainer underwater, but it's something I've always wanted to shoot. Nice work!

Usually these kind of shots happen in the middle of the Dine pool and the contrast is horrible in images from that far away - so I don't post many of them. I adjusted this one in PShop and it came out OK.
I've seen the trainers get into the water with Malia before but only for back rides. I thought this one was cool because it was the first time I've seen a trainer in the water at her level - hence the title

Sounds a lot like Marineland... I did try to take some shots during a show underwater (minus the trainers lol), and most of them had so little contrast that it was hardly worth the effort. Interesting to watch though
