All 7 were in the dine pool ... all in their own little space, mostly.
Kalina just logged about 15-20 feet from the glass, Taima and Malia swam around or logged mellon bumping with Malia upside down on top of Taima's head - very cute (although Malia did come to the glass for a few minutes - but then swam back to mom), Katina and Nalani had a spot on the other end of the pool, Kayla kinda swam around slowly by herself, and Trua was being Trua at the glass 
If they would only all hang out closer to the glass, I could get better pictures ...

Aww! What a great view! Imagine all 7 would interact. But I guess then you would have troubles to get all of them in one photos.
I'm so glad Malia and Taima get along. It's such a treat to see her acting like a lovable mom.
Nalani is still very clingy to Katina, isn't she?

Taima has always been sweet with Malia ...
Nalani goes off on her own a lot to play with Malia and Trua and try to play with Kayla and Kalina. And Nalani has come over with Trua before to interact so she knows what those goofy humans are all about.
Yesterday was a very busy day for the whales - 6 shows ! They were all in the dine pool after the 4th show and 2 more to go ... so they were resting (except for Trua being Trua

Ohh yeah I know. But doesn't Malia also get on her nerves? Wasn't that the reason that Kalina had to play the "auntie"? I'm so glad Malia and Taima got along so well and hopefully will for the next couple of years.
Nalani plays with Kalina and Kayla? Haha that's cute! I always loved to see pictures of her and Kayla performing.
I'm always surprised how many shows are up during some times of year. So that rest is definitely earned.
The calves are also getting more involved in shows, right? That's good. I can't believe they are getting that old, Malia being 2, Nalani turning 3 in some months and Trua 4!!! Wow time flies.

We've never seen Malia get on Taima's nerves. Those 2 have always been sweet together. Sometimes Taima will be resting and Malia just goes on her own little way and plays somewhere else or with another whale ... but we've never seen Taima get bothered by Malia in any way ...
I think Kalina was put with Taima and Malia for company because they were getting Taima used to being with the other whales. I really don't think it had anything to do with Malia "getting on her nerves." ---- I know many rumors fly around the internet based on other rumors about Taima's supposed bad past, but we've never seen Taima be short or testy with Malia ... they have always been sweet together

I didn't want to say, Taima is rude with Malia or is a bad mother. I just thought Taima is that sort of mother, who likes when the baby is more independent, playing with someone else and such. But thanks for clearing that up. Maybe Taima just grew up and that's why her motherely skill may have changed. But I have no idea how she has been with Tekoa, maybe it was made worse than it was. Who knows.
I just hope, they all continue to get along. It's great to see such a big group.
I wish Tilly would get some company. Trua for example. They got along, so why not. hehe
Imagine during the Shamu, Shamu! part, they jump together.

And, I think you're right - they got along great together last summer so they might just work out together again !
But Tilly might like his privacy. Even when he was put with Takara and Trua, he logged by himself in the corner a lot while Trua and mom swam together ... so I don't really know ... but for shows it would be nice to see Trua and Tilly out together

Hehe sounds a bit like Keet, who also likes to be alone. And Tekoa often isolated himself at Loro Parque too.
Has Tilly been with Taima lately? Or is he just all by himself? I thought he always enjoyed Taima's company. But I can also imagine that a hyper orca like Trua gets on Tilly's nerves, when he needs a quiet minute. lol
Tilly + Trua in a show = awesome! That would be neat. Maybe one day we can see them together again.

No ... we haven't seen Taima and Tilly together since they combined the 7 females and calves ...
I just think maybe Tilly is used to being by himself and may hurt a calf without knowing his own strength if he were to be bothered for some reason. It's different if there is a female there to keep the big guy in line

I just wondered because it works with other males and calves too, but the other males probably witnessed more newborn and are more used to calves. I just hope if SWF keeps Trua, that he can be around Tillikum when he gets older.
Trua is a lot like his sister. Kohana also turned out to be more quiet and relaxed now. I'm glad he is close to the ladies now and I'm so happy Kayla looks after him, but I heard she did that with Tekoa too. ^^
