Description Another re-imagining Warhammer 40.000 armors.

This one is a more traditional approach to the Tactical Dreadnought armors, less "Dreadnought" than my last one [link] and more similar to the traditional Power Armor.

The Executor Pattern was heavily influenced by the Hulkbuster armor of Iron Man, with disproportional huge arms and big fists. I also took care to "fit" the person inside it, avoiding those legs and arms quite common to Warhammer 40k and Iron Man comics, that look cool, but there is no way a human (or humanoid) arm or leg can fit inside that without being broke by the robotic moving parts.

Personally I don't think the Terminator armors are very useful in a real combat situation. They are too heavy, bulky, have poor peripheral vision and can't raise the arms. All the enemy have to do is find an high place and launch an ambush without fear of being hit... Wait, isn't that what genestealers are doing in 9 from 10 Space Hulk-like illustrations?! Smart tyranids!

Anyway, I hope you like it!

The look and purpose of having two types of feet is really inventive. Good thinking!

The Librarian Psi-Hood helmet looks like one a Spartan in Halo would wear. But then again, Spartan's are a TOTAL rip-off of Space Marines anyway.

The best (and scariest) thing about it is its Terminator helm. That is god damn terrifying. Also, lets just agree that the Imperium like 'tacticool' weapons instead of ones that are able to function in a manner that works.

Except where Orks use their will power to make their weapons shoot better, the Imperium are given the cruel hand of being able to make sense.

To be honest, I like this patter much more than the other you made. This one looks like a Terminator, the other reminds me more to a Dreadnought. This one also has much less exposed gears and machinery, meaning it should not break with a lucky bullet.

Still, those pistons look kind of vulnerable. It could be solved easily if they were under the plates.

The rest is perfect. I like what you have done with the arms, is a very good solution. Now, this is just me, but I feel that the belly and upper leg is less protected, probably because the rest of the armour is very bulky, and those areas are not. ^^

Heheheheh, well, the Terminator often have to bow down, even to dodge incoming missiles or to grab things in the ground, so he will need a more modular armor in the belly and upper legs to be able to crouch or bow

These areas are protected too, but a bigger armor would make it impossible to move

Also the pistons are quite resistant, and a plate over them would get in the way of their movement

Dodging missiles is for pussies.

I'm just pointing what I see. But if some day I dont use my observations in my own desings, kick me XD

I like this observations, sometimes we don't see some things while drawing

And, well, even terminators can fail the armor saves one time or another... heehehh

Yeah, saturation always works. Those are some nice 5 Terminators you have there buddie. It would be such a shame...if 20 orks charged them...*Sight* I didnt lost a single ork there...

"Zerg rush" armies like orks, tyranids and chaos cultists are the nightmare of Terminators, the chances of lots of them getting past the armor is quite big

Thats good, I think Terminators armour is too.... small
I codex I read abut awesomness of that armour, but when I look at my Smiths (term with hammers and shields) I think that is variant of Tactical armour D:

I hope it would work... (remembering the scene from Iron Man II were North Korea is making an Iron Man and fails horribly...)

this armor i like its got the look of Heavy Armor but still a bit of warhammer flavor.
I love the feet with the back part to lock down for launchers recoil.
I love the arms looks like the NC max from planet side 2

Oh yes, I was thinking, if this thing go down, it would be quite hard for the user to get up, so better prevent that with some claws in the boots

I knew I had seen similar forearms somewhere! But now it carries the complete badasserry of the Imperium's might.
