In need of psychiatric help is right, both Loki and Kylo have serious mental problems (I thinkΒ Loki is Bipolar and possibly some other mental issues as well and Kylo is obviously Borderline like his grandfather). The Last Jedi was all over the place and most of the movie was about Luke's depression, which was absolutely heart-breaking (I swear one of the main themes of Star Wars is mental illness).

I never thought the Jedi way of life was very healthy; it can't be healthy considering the fact mental illness so high in the Star Wars universe (eitherΒ they are aΒ psychopath, have Borderline Personality Disorder and are manipulated into joining the Dark Side or end up with crippling life-long depression). Luke obviously had some of the thoughts about the Jedi way because he believed it should just die. Plus, the Jedi way destroyed his father, led him to nearly try killing his own nephew and led to his horrible depression, understandably he wasn't a big fan.
The Marvel universe leads to a lot of killing off and resurrecting of characters, just look at Coulson. Apparently, this is pretty common in the DC universe too. I always thought it was a bit strange that apparently he just kills a bunch of people, even though we don't get to see it on screen. He just looked like a delusional nutcase, not a homicidal maniac. The comic Loki sounds more like the Loki from the myths, being a god of mischief and lies.

God only knows what he's up to. Stealing the tesseract was an obvious choice, I would have done it too. If I had to beg the Russos, I would, so they continue his arc. If he truly sides with Thanos again, what was the point of the six years character development? He is an asshole, the definition of an anti hero, but he's never ever the villain!

Yeah, true. Fingers crossed they don't mess up his development. As for Kylo Ren, IDK what they are gonna do with him redemption wise in episode IX. Cause if he pulls a Vader and dies on the side of the light, it will be the worst kind of rehash. That prick needs to deal with the consequences of his actions for proper growth, rather that get handed a cop out.

The best part of TLJ was probably Luke saying "Nobody is truly lost" And Kylo kneeling down in the floor in the end knowing he fucked up big time. I don't wanna get my hopes high, but I'd be lying if I said I don't smell a redemption arc. I've seen fans get pissed. The nutheaded ones who believe he is big bad evil who doesn't deserve any redemption,are pissed why Rey didn't chop him into pieces and let him live and shared a few moments with him, and Redemption arc-ists as well, after all that he still goes back to his cave. But to be honest, what did we really expect? There's still another movie in hand. If Ben skipped to the light side hand in hand with Rey, what is left for episode IX? And light side, dark side, both stories have been told, I think it is the time for light and dark to finally dissolve into each other.

I have mixed feelings about The Last Jedi, but the relationship between Rey and Ren was pretty well executed. It leaves a lot of opportunity to carry on later and nobody in the world can say it was rushed!
So yeah, one of them is basically canon, 
And also, spoilers, he literally asks Rey to rule the world with him

I must have chanted "Ben, no!" and "Kylo don't!" literally fifty times during that movie. And was about to throw my bucket at the screen when the "Anakin, you're breaking my heart" scenario happened.
