I've said it before, but I'll say it again: This childish and immature whining about the full coming of DeviantArt Eclipse and replacing the old website has gotten ridiculous, and personally, it's beginning to get on my nerves.
As a gamer, it reminds me of those people who always complain about this multiplayer game and that being trash, dead or dying, if it either has a small playerbase or whenever there is a change they don't like.
My strong personal belief is that people should learn and adapt and accept change, regardless of their personal preferences. After all, there is the possibility that the only constant in all of existence is change.

It’s because of how 2020 went that time travel is in need of being invented quite soon so that not only Deviantart Eclipse can be erased from existence, but also COPPA’s effect on YouTube and a certain virus that’s been making 2020 and even 2021 not go the way they had been expected to go as well.

Following the Arriving of Deviantart Eclipse, things have become more complicated, for one with times when things become barely clickable. I also haven’t been faving stuff in these folders lately to the point where I regret keeping them arranged in a specific order:

And whilst I have found a way to create folders and to put deviations I created into specific folders, I’ve found no way of arranging the order folders and the deviations in them are arranged in.

I can still edit my own deviations now problem, unless things whilst editing become stuff. What I can’t still do is arrange the orders of deviations I created and faved into the folders I put them into, nor can I put text into the folders I created like I’d been able to do prior to deviant art eclipse going into effect.

I tried what you mentioned on my phone by switching to the desktop version the same way I did with being able to create folders on my phone, seeing as I on a computer use a browser that’s not up to date, which can explain why things are barely clickable. Unfortunately clicking on a deviation on my phone to have it dragged in the gallery around only zooms up the image in the same fashion as when holding down on a link to something.

is it that why people are freaking out because DA copying other style of the website I mean if you try to be original to design DA tart I will understand, but they are not going any original and they're just copy the other website looks as similar as same

I'd like to organize a proactive event to show DA the possible results of a permanent Eclipse change-over. Instead of deactivating your accounts for good, or indefinitely boycotting the site, I'd like to make a Statement of Silence for those Users against Eclipse. Starting May 1st, I will not be active on Deviantart. I will not submit new deviations, journals or even visit the site for 3 Days time. From 12:00AM CST May 1st to 12:00am May 4th. (3 days) I ask all other Users who wish to keep old Deviantart to join me in this statement of silence.
Not Only Is Eclipse Difficult to Navigate, It is so close to Plagiarism it isnt funny. How they aren't in a Lawsuit with Artstation is beyond me!

I respect a person's right to like or dislike Eclipse. I personally don't like it, but I don't have a problem with anyone who does. So why should anyone stop hating, or stop liking Eclipse? I prefer honesty to conforming to trends.

it's NOT ridiculous, this new shit is much slower, permanently crashes and you can't even surf through special categories
you can't even surf through someones gallery, you can just scrawl down, no pages nothing, just scrawl, scrawl, pray not to crash ... if it's a huge gallery you will never reach his end, so much work uploaded, gone, buried in eclipse

yea, that's fine if you have a nice system running but there are also some which don't have something like that, that means DA has less members ... especially if they get simply kicked by this
just take a look at Google, it's as simple as possible and everybody uses it, I sometimes even use Google to find something on DA, but that's a different theme ...

This is not my normal username I am a core member under another name. I have been trying the old site and eclipse with this name. My problem is I paid for features I will no longer be able to use and I doubt DA will refund my money. DA also will no longer be a member site in that they are going to be selling spaces for ads which we will have to scroll through. It has been my experience when you have pop up ads on thumbnail pages it slows everything down. I can't blame them for wanting to make money but if you make the people who use it unhappy they leave and your website dies.

I can accept change, but not when the change isn't for the positive. I get where you're coming from but this change in general is affecting the entire quality of the website as a whole. Sure it looks more aesthetically pleasing but the functionality isn't there and there's a lot of missing features. It's different with games and actual useful, productive platforms that helped artists receive income, ect.

Eclipse should not be launched if its not in its complete final form. that is what the beta testing stage was supposed to be for. And over the course of the "beta testing" stage, many many MANY deviants have offered up countless suggestions and opinions, stating where there were glitches, where there is no longer an efficiency or key features that are necessary for certain artists or groups are missing entirely. So far little progress in the change and development of this new launch has been made.
By the by, saying people should just accept change for the worse without complaint is like a tyrant telling people to accept the shackles he's putting around their ankles. Yes, lets all just be sheep and go with it because that's the easiest thing to do.

I don't like Eclipse much, but I do see where it can be not so bad down the road.
I really think they're jumping the gun on it and releasing an unfinished product.
People have paid good money for a lot of membership features that will be lost.

But isn't that the whole point, showing that we are far from okay with it? If they are changing the fully working system for something that barely works, lacks features and is way more complicated?
