Description
Here are the character alignments for the cast of Treasure Planet the way I see it.
Lawful Good: Captain Amelia: To be accurate, Mr. Arrow most certainly qualifies too, but Amelia has higher rank (and I couldn't fit multiple images into such small slots, maybe I should make a template like this myself one day). But they're the highest ranking crew members of RLS Legacy and attempt to maintain order on the ship, so they're the best pick.
Neutral Good: Dr. Delbert Doppler: Not much to say about him. The good old Doc just conveniently happens to be the middle ground among the good characters.
Chaotic Good: Jim Hawkins: This was an easy one. Jim's certainly a good person, but we're shown that he has a tendency to get in trouble with the law, and it's heavily implied it isn't the only time he's come home accompanied by the police.
Lawful Neutral: The Robot Police: They're the local law enforcers and have no real other screentime or purpose in the plot.
True Neutral: B.E.N: The robot who spends most of his screentime amnesiac. I don't believe him to have strong moral leaning in either direction, Jim simply happened to be the first to find him.
Chaotic Neutral: Long John Silver: There's no contest, Silver's the wild card of the film. He's the leader of the pirates, but is still relatively friendly, at least towards Jim. Still, he chooses to escape rather than surrendering to the law, remaining a free man, but likely branded an outlaw by the monarchy as a result.
Lawful Evil: N/A Literally all of the villains of the film are pirates, none of whom really fits into lawful alignment.
Neutral Evil: Long John Silver (again): Even though he did eventually develop a genuine friendship with Jim, Silver has still spent what's implied to be a long life of piracy, with a strong probability of having taken lives in his quest to find the Treasure Planet. Silver himself described it as ''a lifelong obsession''. It took his meeting and befriending Jim to make him have a true change of heart, and even then it was far from easy. As such, I have him fill the slots for Chaotic Neutral and Neutral Evil both.
Chaotic Evil: Scroop: With the exception of Silver, just about every pirate probably falls into this category, including late Captain Nathaniel Flint. However, Scroop is the one to receive the most screentime and the most characterization. He's violent and murderous, and he seems to have a major problem with people in positions of authority, such as Mr. Arrow, and he wasn't that obedient towards Silver either (Scroop was the only pirate Silver had to use physical force on in order to keep him in line). It also gives the implication that Silver was the leader of the pirates largely by being the strongest of the bunch.
Original blank template by (Don't believe he's that active anymore, though)
