Sad but true. Once you can't get them to fight your war for whatever you want, they are of no use to you and they are treated like crap. I am an Army Brat and I know the shitty insurance they get and all the hardships a vet faces. Heck they can't declare bankruptcy if they had been a victim of a preditory lending system. Their kids have a higher risk of autism than the civilian population. (Both my parents were in before I was born. My brother has Aspurgers and I am personally questionable on the if I have autism or not catagory)

I know, as a military person, I don't know how i deal with myself... I must admit, it's pretty rough to be able to afford things that people who don't want to work generally cant....

It's like that for anyone who works who doesn't make a lot. I am suffering through that now. I have seasonal work and because the job market is dead, I have to make this money pay for the bills all year. I doubt I will get unemployment because of the state law not counting the quarter I worked before the quarter I applied and we got cut out food stamps because they don't use income averaging as they said they would. But when I was unemployed I had it made.

serusly, if we boycot the militry, everyone whith a grudge agenst us or a alliy and a gun will take the chance, and by the time the riled up people reolised we have Kim Jung doing a victory perad in SEATTLE!

America tried so hard to find a final use for ther poor, jobless and unwanted. Better as they rage out and slaughter kids in the american suburb, or? Okay, if you´r an American this makes sense possibly.....possibly.
It´s a fuck up that just those get to the military who are to simple or too poor to do something else. A smart person shouldn´t sign a contract what say that you´re not free anymore to avoid unlawfull actions.
Many veterans are angry cause ther was handled like the waste they agreed to be in the contract.

The USA government treats their military veterans worse than those of many other advanced nations. It's shocking. Yet, they always manage to recruit more fools to be sent off to fight in their wars for corporate profits.

Bureaucracy doesn't come into the debate, unless of course it is used as a scapegoat. Bureaucracy is the 'cover-story' as you well know already. It's an easy way to palm off everything as 'nobody's fault'. A bit like 'failure of imagination' with 9/11.
