Savvy posted that =org-nu was opened and I promised myself that I would take the time the join because I love all animated movies (and not just those from Disney). Anyway! I kinda put this character together over the last few days.

Name: Xranthae (Aranthe)

Title: the Lonely Blade

Element: Force (push and pull)

Brief description of element use: In brief, Xranthae possesses the ability to attract or repel physical objects. The smaller the object is, the easier it is for her to move it; a coin, for example, would barely require more than a flick of a finger to manipulate, whereas moving something like a car or very large animal (like an elephant) would require her to put her whole body into moving it - anything larger than those is nearly impossible for Xranthae to move.

Xranthae has to be able to see the object to move it (she can't just assume that there is a box three floors down, for example), and she has to concentrate on it. This power does not allow for her to "hover" objects around, rather it just moves them from point a to point b. If the object is bolted or rooted into the ground, she has to work extra hard to rip it up. The most common use of this power is for Xranthae to yank someone to her - and to the end of her sword.

Weapon: Xranthae uses a sword, which hearkens back to her homeworld.

Homeworld: Quest for Camelot

Brief Personality: Quiet, driven, and somewhat enigmatic, Xranthae appears to be the stereotype of a standard warrior. She takes orders without question, follows them to the letter, and keeps most of her thoughts to herself. For the most part she appears icy and unapproachable, seemingly enjoying her self-imposed loneliness. To some members of Organization Nu, Xranthae might be appear to be mute for how little she speaks.

When engaged in conversation, Xranthae opens up a little bit more. She'll actually smile and talk (though quietly). If she becomes your friend, you'll have a loyal ally who will quickly rise to defend you against any attacker. This loyalty could only be bested by her bonds to the founders of the Organization, who she regards as her saviors and would gladly die for.

When engaged in battle, Xranthae becomes an efficient killing machine - throwing around debris and tossing back enemies before she effortlessly runs forward to meet them again - with her blade ready to rend them to pieces.

Brief Background: Xranthae - then Aranthe - lived a quiet life in the castle village just outside of Camelot. Her family wasn't exactly well-to-do, but they made it by with few complaints. She was the middle child, who kept to herself while her parents took care of her younger sibling and supported her older brother on his endeavors to become a knight. Though she was a woman and was expected to live up to the social expectations of her family, she learned some valuable lessons in swordplay from her brother, who had since enlisted himself underneath the honorable King Aurthur and was being trained to be part of his guard. It was also through her brother that Aranthe met the man who she would eventually fall in love with.

This man was squire on his way towards knighthood, and the two were determined to marry each other. Their personalities clicked, and Aranthe felt that she had finally met someone who she wouldn't mind opening up to. Unfortunately, their happiness was soon marred with tragedy - as the castle Camelot fell to forces of Ruber and his cronies, the fear and anger of the townsfolk quickly summoned the heartless and with them their curse.

In the ensuing battle, Aranthe fought alongside her fiance, the two of them back to back as they fought to defeat the never ending onslaught of darkness that also powered Ruber's treachery. Eventually her knight was badly wounded, and Aranthe stepped up to challenge of defending him, standing over her lover while she desperately pushed back their attackers. Unfortunately she wasn't strong enough to destroy them all, and she and her love fell into the darkness and into the claws of the Heartless.

When she awoke, she couldn't remember anything except a name - Xranthae. What she eventually came to realize, though, was that she was missing an eye and she had a terrible feeling of guilt and inadequacy. She was in a strange place, and as she hobbled through it, still weak and afraid, she was approached by Xeth's and Xalna and offered a place where she could belong and try and make up for the faceless sins that still haunted her emotionally.

She accepted, and has been a fiercely loyal member of Org-Nu ever since.
