Her gun did get a bit of a makeover. The design changed a little for this round, but I swear it doesn't do anything differently.
Kroe is getting a little nervous right about now. Combination being alone and small dark places is making her pretty tense. And making her nostalgic. Le wild vortian hath appeared. *o*

I'd planned on introducing the vortian guy mentioned here in later rounds or in a separate comic, but I never got around to it. She's referring to a vortian male who helped her out when she was taken captive as a prisoner of war earlier in her life. This page is just her remembering. C:

I'm liking the dark atmosphere and the water effects C: Since you were working on expressions, though, I will give a little advice in that I would recommend not having an upturn to Kroe's lips when she's obviously supposed to be making an angry or frustrated expression. She kinda looks like she's making a weird grin.

Hmm, I see what you mean. I think I was attempting more of a snarl or sneer with the lip upturned a bit like that, but it didn't come out quite right, I guess! Thank you for noticing that, though! It's something I would've totally overlooked. The lighting and water effects were fun, but I think they need some serious work. My use of water effects improves towards the end I think.
