I'M DONE!
Phew.
So, I did most of these pages in the last week. Each page was approximately 5+ hours in the making. I did have school and finals and all, but really, I did procrastinate for the longest time, as I didn't have any ideas. I think that really killed my pacing and the quality of my work. Like I said, I wanted to try fully coloring these, but there simply wasn't the time.
However, I am really, really proud of this round and happy to be drawing comics again! From my very first comic to this, I think I've come a long way. Even from the audition round to this, I feel like I've improved. Drawing in my full style is a complete pain, but I think it adds a bit of depth and continuity my IZ style never did. I still need to work on backgrounds, but I hope I fudged it enough that nobody was put off by how bare they were.
Big thankies to avatarjk137 for his quick responses and help with writing for Samsa. Hope I did his carapace and character some justice. Good luck this round!
TL;DR, this was fun and challenging and now I need to relax.

This was really good! This was the first time I've seen somebody else portray Samsa in action, and it doesn't disappoint. Kroe, I've seen before from the last Blood-Sport, of course, but she's gained definition over the years. That line about the child suicide bomber is a marvelously efficient way to add some depth to Kroe, and it earns our sympathy at the same time by explaining why she doesn't hesitate to kill somebody as young as Samsa. And then with that last panel you make us wonder if we should be feeling sympathetic for her after all.

It's definitely a struggle to give background info and thoughts of a character in comic form, so I'm happy that it does seem relatively apparent in my entry. Thanks again! : 3
