haha, yeahh, i was pretty obsessed with them last summer. like to the point me and my best friend were leaders of the street team for the whole south east for a few months.. we never had to do anything because not many people really knew about them then.. but whatever.
I actually haven't listened to their new cd. they remind me a bit too much of the backstreet boys on the cover so i've been sorta scared to check it out.. I hear yankee in the chip shop is on there though.. so i might get it for that. [it was one of their old ones that they did live]
i was pretty obsessed with jon for a while.. and my friend was obsessed with shawn.. who is actually the lead singer. lol
anyway. i'd still love to see them live. you're very lucky

haha, yess i couldnt help but put those two cds together.. cause it was just asking for it.
some of the other ones are green day [insomniac, american idiot, 1039 smoothed out slappy hours & nimrod], sugarcult, RHCP, yeah yeah yeahs, rise against, some random burned cds, nirvana, the white stripes, matchbook romance, me first & the gimme gimmies, Jet, Phantom planet, taking back sunday, half of a dresden dolls cd, and the two top cd cases on the stacks are both the matches.. because I really love their music..

i actually listened to fever to tell yesterday for the first time in awhile, taught myself "date with the night" on the guitar. pretty crazy album.

haha, I've got Fever to Tell in this playlist that I listen to all the time. I taught myself 'turn into' from show your bones and I can pretty much play that with my eyes closed [even though its easy and like.. 4 or 5 chords.. lol]. I really love that song.
date with the night is pretty good, too.

yeah, turn into's pretty simple, I love songs that sound good but are actually easy to play.
I can play "gold lion" too, there're only like four chords in it, plus a little solo.

I used to take lessons but my teacher sucked and I wasn't learning anything from him, so i quit and taught myself. and there's tons of tab sites, so it's really not hard.

my mum likes bluegrass music.. but she plays & tunes guitars quite well by ear, so I got her to show me how to tune.. but thats about it
