More than anything, the angle of this shot really draws me in. The use of focus seems more of a backdrop but is absolutely an intricate part of this moment. Your angle really makes me feel as though the dragonfly is above me in height as well as stature.. .i am but an ant who could only achieve the tops of the dragonfly's perch, any further would be but a dream to me.

From a technical view, ( although i am not a photographer ) i think the wings look PERFECT! There is just enough shimmer to give a sense of frailty. The shadows of the plant stalk as well, are a neccesity to draw me into the darker blur of the back ground. Finally, with the background itself, there is just enough blue coming through to really break it and add some sort of contrast to the foreground, especially with color. Keep up the great work!

i have always been fascinated with bugs and insects but either way the artist has done rather well with his image, if you have the patience then the rewards will follow. What do i like about this photo well its very colorful and vibrant the insect is sharp too, do i have any else to say well it would be good to see a close up version of insect and may be one in black and white/mono too to see if it brings out more detail in the photo.Insects are fun to photograph even if the person shooting these subjects ends up getting stung or bitten
