Poor polar bears...whether or not global warming exists they have to deal with oil drilling in their habitats. Obviously this was done for my editorial class - we just had to do an environmental thing. The oil is done with acrylic so it has a nice texture element to it.Watercolor, ink, and acrylic.

Nice touch of having the oil around the polar bear shaped like a skull. XDD And I love the texture of the background! It has that icky smokey texture. ^_^

Thanks! Some of that smokiness was actually a happy accident - the watercolor was kind of opaque and made a kind of fog over the ink.
