In history, the name Gundam of Gundam Code was actually used by the original pure Gundam that was actually exist a few year ago of the war. So, the UN was actually trying to copy the pure original Gundam to become their newest main forces.

The phrase "Series" was actually not part of the name. it's actually means that it was the series number that is located at it's left chest. For example, the Gundam Code that Jack use is this picture, number 079. so the name would be: CWMS-G011 Gundam Code CT 079. I said it as "series" because Gundam Code is a mass produce, so there's must be a lot of them. And of course, i cant count them all.
