I'm currently changing, or rather trying a new character styling, from Anime-ish into Semi-Anime-ish. Well, it's basically still an Anime-ish style, but not the moe-cute girls, or rather, traditional/classic anime stlye. So i call it Semi-Anime. And it turned out pretty well, thx to some referrences. Still working on it, improving it i mean
Anime (3/4) Anatomy style
Well i don't usually update my OC character, so u can't see my anime character progress very well. But i'm often drawing one as i'm often drawing mechas. At least the last time i submit OC characters is here, though it's a very long time ago, but, here it is:

It's still an anime style, you're just going for something more like...Witch Hunter Robin, rather than Sailor Moon. lol

Hmm... yeah, i though so, since some of my friends called it that way too.
But i thought WHR is some kind in the middle of semi-anime and semi-real (the overall face is anatomy, but the hair is something that anime still there is, or so i thought XD) So what do u suspect semi-anime style is like? Because i though semi-anime was like taking a bit of real human face shapes with the eye a little bit smaller than traditional anime does, and with a more complex hair details

Well, yeah, I totally agree. It's just that semi-anime, semi-realistic is already an anime style of it's own, now thanks to modern anime.
Hell, even Naruto, as anime-ish as it is, is more realistically done than many of it's predecessors, you know?
Anime like Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and others, as much as we love them, are VERY unrealistic in their proportions and anatomy.

Ah, yes. I forgot about the 'modern' animes hahaha. So thx to that, either way i can't call it semi-real nor -anime since that's already the new style of anime nowadays, no?
