Description
Sometimes having a super magical OC with a super special magic destiny gets kind of boring. Sometimes, a simple earth pony living through life on his farm is all that's needed. Which is precisely why I bothered making these!

These four-legged friends all heavily reference 's Mane 6 Redesigns , so please check them out! Their colors were just so nice to look at, I just had to try them on.

"Parfaedia," or as I have come to call it, "eternally WIP earth pony town name," is a certain spot in Equestria founded by Chancellor Puddinghead, and is roughly equivalent to Cloudsdale and Canterlot, but largely populated by earth ponies as oppose to pegasi and unicorns. I imagine it's somewhere behind the mountain Canterlot is on, which is why it doesn't see much relevancy. That is, until Chocolate Liquor's wine business puts it back on the map.

There's so much earth pony magic that's settled over the town, that everyone there is born with "earthier" colors. It's like how the Crystal Empire tends to crystal-ify its visitors.

(Now, if someone can think of an earth pony town name that starts with the letter "C," I'll gladly take it)

Chocolate Cake
He's handsome, and he knows it! Cake is Chocolate Liquor's oldest son, and is technically the one who will inherit both the wine business and the family farm, but it'll be a heck of a long time until Liquor kicks the bucket (especially with how hardy earth pony magic tends to make ponies), so he is content with his laid-back, flirt-with-most-moving-things lifestyle.
Cake's special talent is putting new spins on old recipes. He's most often seen at parties, handing out free samples of his most latest creations. With Cake, nothing is ever "just" a treat or a snack.
He enjoys venturing into Graham Woods to search for ingredients you wouldn't typically find, or use in baking. Cake is as adventurous in the forest as he is in the kitchen.
Though he may seem like a slacker, he does put in the work back at Cocoa Meadows Farm. As you can see, he's grown up strong.
Named after a distant, great great grand-uncle, who happened to marry into another earth pony family.

Earliglow
Did you know that you can bribe with strawberries? It's true.

Earliglow is the local crazy-cat-pony-in-the-making. Whenever he's in town, the strays are sure to follow, as he specifically brings treats just for them whenever he has to go shopping. He's working on convincing his mother that all of these cats would make perfect farmhands back at home. Earliglow's sisters agree with him, at least!
Earliglow's special talent is strawberry baked goods. Specifically, adding a cute little cat face to most things that he bakes. This boy just really loves cats, my gosh.
His cat-pattern scarf was a birthday gift from his mother. He's worn it ever since.
The strawberry farm that Earliglow lives on is a relatively new addition to Parfaedia. It's been around for at least a generation or two, compared to Cocoa Meadows, which has been around since the town's founding.

Chocolate Chip
Hey, it's Ori! Well, not quite Ori, but rather his Parfaedia-equivalent, as I made him for myself.

Chocolate Chip has never really known life outside of his farm, or even Parfaedia, for that matter. Every time some pony comes to visit, he's always wide-eyed with wonder at whatever they bring with them. He's rather innocent to the workings of Equestria because of this, but he's learning. Even after Chocolate Liquor's wine business kicks off, he still insists on helping his dad out in the farm.
His namesake is his favourite kind of cookie.
Chocolate Chip's special talent is comfort food & drinks. Think: the end of Ratatouille. He does that, just with cuter food. He is quite liked at the "Candy Bar" because of this, an establishment he works part-time at. He does custom drinks for anyone who asks.
Of his friends, Chocolate Milk was the last to get his cutiemark, only doing so after personally cooking the Heartswarming Feast for his family.

Buckwheat
Wait a minute, this isn't a pony!

Yes! Buckwheat is a member of a herd of sheep that live in town, and have also been there since shortly after the town's founding. He's quite laid back, and always ends up being the one that "grounds" his group of friends whenever things get particularly heated. Buckwheat also has quite a bit of wisdom to share, despite his young age. He says he "learned it from the bees," but no one but his family is entirely sure if he's serious or not.
The bee-like creatures that Buckwheat's herd takes care of, "honeybuns," are quite fond of him, and are happy to follow him into town whenever he goes to sell honey.
He's also quite flirty, but always does so with a straight face. He's one of the few quadrupeds in this side of Equestria that can flirt with Chocolate Cake on equal footing, and put him on the defense!
Buckwheat's copper bell let's him perform a bit of magic. It's not capable of maintained levitation, like unicorns, but with just a ring it can do things like banish dust and create a crisp chill on hot days.

Vanilla Milkshake
's food horse, after I lured her into the idea with the promise of free art. :u

Vanilla is one of the newcomers that have come to town after Chocolate Liquor made it the hot new place to be. She's originally from Ponyville, but after years of competing with Sugarcube Corner, her family decided to move in with some relatives in Parfaedia after they heard the news about it. Being half-Parfaedian herself, it didn't take long for Vanilla to be right at home with the rest of the ponies there.
Vanilla Milkshake's special talent is making really damn good milkshakes. That's it. She uses this to her advantage at the Candy Bar, where she sparks a friendly rivalry, and quick friendship with her coworker-rival Chocolate Milk.
Don't let her sweet demeanor and cute stature fool you, Vanilla isn't afraid to fight rough if the time calls for it!
Her beloved pet chicken, Peck, has been with her through thick and thin.
