Okay, had an idea.... well, it's for a scene for a story I was writing, but think I need your help here man.
Remember that Omake joke on "American Dream" of the MREs on the American Dream being handed by pissed off quartermasters and they are very old (well, not expired as in non-edible, but definitely they are starting to taste like crap)? Dunno if it would make sense for Mari to have them in her ship, in a "Canon", but considering that she would have access to Puppy-Kun's cooking and maybe the occasional Asgadian feast, maybe she forgot.
The joke is she sells it to an Alternate of Rusty Mackenzie ("Gundam Seed", Coordinator, member of ZAFT, redshirt in Canon. Mari probably describes him vaguely like "red head, blue eyes, not bad on the eyes but then I noticed the wedding ring on his hand so I decided to not push it. Think it's one of those Gundam guys but I'm not sure.... maybe from one of those shows with the miniatures?") and she even finds interesting that the guy pulled out a geas contract that specified in black and white that it would not be used to prank anybody, especially the Avengers, had it scanned for functional magic and signed it in front of her, but why would he be interested in buying MREs?
Cut to an SSS squad eating a meal concocted with the MREs and fresh spices, made by an Alternate of Shinji Ikari, and they are all going "this is good!". Most of them are from post-apocalyptic universes and have eaten crap like 100-year-old boot boiled Charlie Chaplin-style with dog kibble, and don't really notice anything bad about it. Or Shinji is just that good a cook.

Well, that scene seems fine with me. I have no problem with you doing something like that. But...who's Puppy-kun?

Shinji. That's Mari's nickname for him. At least fanon. Because he's a "lost puppy" or something, I think?

Oh. I hadn't heard that. Come to think of it, she did call him NERV's little puppy in the movie.

Another idea for a quick snip. Tossing it your way before tryiong to write it. Probably it's a hundred-word one or something, but here goes:
Kiki vs. the "Mamma Aiuto" air pirates.
"Huh, Boss?" "What!?" "It's that little girl in the broom again!"

You know, that would be funny. Word of warning; after that fiasco with Kiki and Asuka/Giganta, Dr. Shikigami will be giving her a magic wand imported from the Mushroom Kingdom. You know, for extra protection.

Added in another thing I forgot. Namely, the color-coding for different meta-types. Seriously, what is wrong with me?

Cool.
Wonder what color could Pariah carriers have? Maybe grey or "glitch".

Hmm...grey seems fitting. Actually, it makes me think of Grey Murphy from the Xanth books. His magic talent is the ability to null all other forms of magic. So...yeah. Grey seems a fitting color. I'll add it in.

Using regular shackles is often better when it comes to capture/transportation of a Pariah carrier, but it's not impossible. They need to be VERY highly sedated before being scanned on a DISK. Talking about placing them in a full coma, no REM or anything, treating them like a Hulk or Wolverine Alternate. If they go crazy, the device will be on the fritz.

OK, dude, I'm gonna pitch an idea here because I have no idea of how to make it work, but the Core Timeline is crazy like this:
"You're telling me that somewhere out there in this fucked-in-the-head multiverse, this little girl is related to THIS GUY?!?!"
At the very least it could make an interesting "sequel hook" for the Vasquez story.

Don't see a reason to be annoyed. Chris's opinions are his. I am more of the type of "give the world a perfect prison and you'll find someone who can break it or corrupt it in no time." It's the way the Plot goes. And the latter especially with Marvel characters (like the lady from Illinois with the name of The Music Man).
With men like Joker, I also think bullets are cheaper. But who's gonna tell that to a kid?
Β
It's a good addition. Helps to know how these gadgets work. Or work most of the time...

It's not that. I was just worried that people would think I was pulling stuff out of my butt when I did my best to honestly research anything and everything about the DISKs to see what would be inbounds and out of bounds with them. Referencing Loki's schemes and other moments from the series, just to be sure I didn't botch anything.
Quite frankly, I'm inclined to give the likes of the Joker (well, at least some Jokers. Not counting ones like the Caesar Romero Joker, mind you) as harsh and terminal a punishment as possible. Not only because I think that they deserve it, but because they're so dangerous and beyond redemption.
Like I said, I did my best to research the DISKs. To come up with uses that weren't found in the source material while remaining true to it.

Chris Taylor is one of the protagonists fromΒ Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers. That's the series that the DISKs originate from as well. It's frequently been likened to a fusion of Digimon and Marvel, with many of Marvel's heroes and villains becoming trapped within the DISKs. And the DISKs are demonstrated to have numerous useful functions, such as healing. And in one episode, Loki did use a machine to copy the powers of many heroes and villains onto himself.
