They were able to check Michelle out of the Hospital that night. It was almost two in the morning when they got home.

"Whew, what a night," Michelle said as they walked into the house. "Who's up for never having a night like that again?"

"Here's to hoping," Samantha said, she then turned to Michelle. "Go and get ready for bed. It's well past your bedtime, and you have school tomorrow."

"Aw, can't I call in sick?" Michelle asked.

"No," Samantha said. "You've used those up already remember."

"Stupid school," Michelle said, as Samantha walked further into the house turning the lights up. "Did you ever go to school?"

"Yes," Salina replied. "Several schools actually."

"That must suck," Michelle said. "One school is enough."

"Ah school's not so bad," Salina said. "It keeps little brats like you off the streets for a while at least. That's gotta be good for something, right."

"Hey," Michelle protested. "I'm not a brat."

"Sure, you're not," Salina replied, then rubbed Michelle's head. "Now off to bed with you."

Outside, Diana stood on the porch looking into the night sky. The glass door opened as Salina stepped outside.

"Hey, you coming?" Salina asked. "Or you taking another smoke?"

"No I... I just thought I heard a howl," Diana said turning back to the dark. "Fiona's still out there somewhere. God only knows if she hasn't hurt or killed anyone else yet."

"I don't know, I'll ask the big man upstairs if he knows anything," Salina said as she walked over to her. Diana didn't answer as she looked out.

"Hey, we'll find her, alright" Salina said.

"I know," Diana said. "I just hope she comes back."

"Of course she will," Salina said, then with a smile added. "She has you to come back too."
