Scarlet tested the lock and was shocked to find it unlocked. It's definitely a trap, Scarlet thought as she slowly opened the door to find Jena hanging from the ceiling by chains.

"Jena!" Scarlet exclaimed and rushed over to the teen. She felt Jena's neck and breathed a sigh of relief when she felt a pulse. "She's alive," she said into the earpiece.

"Thank God," James replied.

"Jena," Scarlet said gently shaking her. "It's Scarlet." Jena opened one eye but was only half concious.

"S-Scarlet?" Jena said faintly. Scarlet began working at the chains trying to get her free.

"Well, it took you long enough to get here, Red," said a voice behind Scarlet. She turned around to see Amber walking into the room.

"You haven't told her yet, have you?" Scarlet growled. "Lady Necro doesn't even know we're here, does she?"

"Very clever, Scarlet," Amber said, giving her a mock clap. "Did you really walk blindly into an obvious trap to save a worthless mortal?"

"I guess I did," Scarlet replied.
