Amber got to her feet as her strength came back to her.

"Now," Lady Necro said. "We need to deal with Scarlet and her new friend."

"What do you want me to do?" Amber asked.

"I want you to learn everything you can about this Raven," Lady Necro instructed. "Find out who she is, where she learned to control her magic."

"Is this mortal really so important?" Amber asked. "She will just die out like the rest of the mortals do. Scarlet is our enemy, Mistress," Amber said. "We know where she is, we should strike while we have the advantage."

"I can go after Scarlet anytime," Lady Necro replied. "However, I want to find Raven before she disappears again. For a thousand years, I have never felt so much power within someone, let alone from a mortal." She added more to herself then turned to Amber. "And find out how she was able to conceal her magic."

"It will be done, Lady Necro," Amber said, with a bow.

"Amber," Lady Necro called as Amber turned to leave. "Do not harm Raven."

"Lady Necro--," Amber started.

"I forbid it!" Lady Necro commanded. "If you so much as harm one hair on Raven's head, I will unleash the Seven upon you."

Amber couldn't help but shutter at the thought of such a fate. The Seven were unpredictable forces of darkness that had been locked away in Limbo.
