"Scarlet," James said softly, moving over to her.

"But it seems you can't hide everything," Scarlet murmured. "Not from Him," she said motioning upward.

"Christian wasn't here to judge you," James said.

"What else would an angel do with a murderer like me?" Scarlet replied.

"If it weren't for Christian, I wouldn't be here right now," James said.

"What do you mean?" Scarlet said.

"Well, when I was on my way to your trailer, Amber appeared and tried to kill me," James murmured. "Then Christian appeared out of nowhere and saved me. I'm certain that Amber wanted revenge for what happened at the diner."

"Where is she?" Scarlet demanded.

"Christian sent her away," James replied.

"That fool," Scarlet growled. "He should've condemned her to hell. She signed her soul away when she joined with Lady Necro?"

"You want to kill her, don't you?" James asked.

"She tried to kill you, James," Scarlet replied.

"But you don't want to kill her out of revenge, do you?" James said.
