RISE OF THE FLORA *MAXED*
She can make plants grow in their natural environment. She can do this through mental focus and cover ground in a 30ft. (10m) radius. She can cover an area this size about four times. Her time to recover varies from 30 to 60 minutes.
She can choose to make something grow super fast or very slow. The faster she makes it grow, the more tiring it is. She can make more things grow by touching the ground directly. It consumes less energy and she'll be able to grow more things. She can also make wilted flowers bloom anew.
She is generally unaffected by plants’s effects. Things like nettles or poison ivy won’t hurt her.
She serves as some kind of personal sun to flora when she's around an area with a lot of plants very often (like her father's flower store). They become more vibrant and lively, but this effect will only show after 1 month if Thyme's been visiting the space regularly. The effect on the flowers wears off when Thyme stops visiting the area (regularly). This power already manifested itself at a fairly young age, but it wasn't noticable that it was Thyme who was doing anything to the plants at first.
NATURAL ORIENTATION *MAXED*
Thyme is able to track edible plants/fruit within a 325ft. (100 m) radius.
Upon focus, she knows which direction is the right one to go. She can manage this for about 1 hour before turning exhausted and having to rest for 30 - 60 minutes. If she overexerts, she passes out. This only works on Demeter's turf (forests, wild places, farm lands,...).
ABSORB *MAXED*
When Thyme touches a plant, her body will adapt that plant’s specific quality or effect. For instance, if she touches a nettle, she will be able to give people a nettle burn when she touches them. The strength of the plant’s effect will either be magnified or reduced by Thyme’s size. For example, when she touches that nettle, the sting will be more powerful through Thyme, because she’s bigger than a nettle. But if she were to touch a tree, her skin might be a teensy bit thicker than usual; the effect is reduced because Thyme is much smaller than the tree. If Thyme touches a flower or a plant without any specific effect, she will adapt the plant’s scent.

Thyme can absorb two different effects simultaneously. The effects work for 1 hour, unless she switches it off prematurely. After each hour, she requires a 15 minutes recharge.

Thyme receives a set consisting of 1 Guard necklace and 2 Guarded necklaces which will help her keep track of the two people she chooses to give these two necklaces to. The Guard necklace is only for Thyme to wear. She will be able to give the necklaces to whomever she wishes and they will return to their recipients if accidentally lost. For now, if they do not wear it, Thyme will not be able to feel them at all.

She can now pinpoint anyone wearing the necklace when they are in the same continent and will be able to tell if they are in danger. Whenever a person is in trouble, Thyme recieves a jolt of stress, like that feeling you get when you dream you missed a step.

For Thyme’s second blessing she has received a pair of gardening gloves that will allow her to turn items and monsters into a hedge in their shape.
Monster weight: Up to 450 pounds (manticore, hellhound) (or said equivalent of more monsters of lesser weight)
Curse Duration: 1 hour
Recharge duration: 135 minutes
Plants the victims may turn into: Basic hedge topiaries, thorn bush hedges/ prickly hedges, luxurious hedges (roses, etc.), poisonous plant hedges, saplings, trees (the size of the monster)
Items: Items up to the size of a grown man and weapons and shields.

God-given items (blessings and weapons) and demigods are immune to the gloves.
When Thyme cuts down the roots of a monster that turned into a plant, it'll disintegrate.

Mist form: Bronze-coloured hairpin. She wears it all the time, hidden inside her bun of thick hair.
Non-Mist form: χειριστής αγκάθι - Thornwielder. Celestial bronze sword with decorations similar to the ones on the hairpin.
Personality:
Relaxed, chill, generally calm and serene and a little quirky, you'll usually find Thyme lazying around under or up in a tree, or in a patch of sunlight. She prefers to handle things slowly if she can, though she tends to be more active in wild places, like forests. They have a solar-panel effect on her.

She tends to simply state what's on her mind, sometimes leaving an odd first impression on people, but whatever she might do, her intentions are always good and kind. She's curious about who people are and what they can do and often stands in awe of everything, even if it is the ability to touch their noses with their tongue. She is quick to grow fond of people she cares about and has a natural instinct to care for and act very motherly towards them.

Since staying in Camp Half Blood, she hasn't changed much, aside from learning to stand up for herself more since they're being taught offence and defence. If pushed to the limit, she will probably act passive aggressively, like configuring a clump of nettles around her source of frustration. But since no one bothers her and she tends to be generally unaffected most of the time, she rarely does. She's more likely to do this if others are being bothered, rather than herself.
Flaw:
Recklessness.
This mostly happens when:
- Feeling guilty: believing she has (involuntarily) done something wrong or didn't render the necessary help.
- Panicking: when cornered, seeing no way out, or seeing friends in danger, results in her acting on impulse without keeping a level head.

Thyme is the kind to feel responsible and protective by nature. Hence, she wishes to be in control of dangerous situations and tries to be everywhere at once, making sure that every option of possible danger is blocked.
Background:
Thyme's father, Austin Matthews, is a florist, which is probably one of the reasons he roused Demeter's interest. He knows a lot about flowers and herbs and sells them in a store called 'Matthews Magnolias.' The name of the store is a good illustration of his humor.

Finding Thyme on his doorstep and realizing where she came from, he found it fitting to name her after a plant (as pieces of thyme had been in Thyme's cradle when he found her). As Thyme grew older, effects of her demigod abilities started showing. All the flowers in Austin's shop looked incredibly healthy and alive, their colours more vibrant than others and never wilting when kept in the flower shop. This caused Austin's shop to bloom figuratively and literally and soon he became locally well-known for his mysteriously gorgeous flowers.

At the age of 11, Thyme had her first confrontation with a monster, a Dracaenae, during a vacation on the beaches of Florida. Austin, as well as Thyme, were terrified and the latter was very much confused. A very worried Austin tried to keep Thyme out of their clutches and he managed to do so for a few years. After a flock of Stymphalian birds had ravaged their store, Austin realized there was only one safe place for Thyme. And thus he brought her to Camp Half Blood, after explaining Thyme who she really was.

At this point in time, the Matthews' store has been rebuilt. Thyme is currently attempting to make her father date Rory's mother, with Rory's help. They have a tortoise-shell she-cat named Strawberry and a female Bernersennen dog named Molly.

Other Info:
Pretty much always wears floral prints.
Prefers to walk around barefoot. When training, she'll wear a pair of old sneakers (if she feels like putting them on).
Always has a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Always.
Thinks at least 95% of life's problems can be solved with flowers.
Is prone to liking any kind of food based on grain, wheat or barley.
Despite her relaxed nature, she can grow scarily angry when something pushes her over the edge.

She spends a lot of her time cooking and baking and she will stuff you with food.
