Yeah, Mario games, like many retro platformers, work best in 2D. I mean, they're alright in 3D, but they lose some of their character. I think, anyway. Sonic works well in 2D OR 3D, I just wish that the 3D ones had decent cameras & controls... And a decent plot... With decent acting... Waaah.

I AGREE! since when has nintendo become so obsessed with 3d stuff? I mean Mario sidescrollers NEED 2d artwork. 3d doesn't leave much to the imagination like 2d does.

uniquly drawn, but somehow it doesnt lose the integrity of the charecter. would be cool to make a DS game off of this animation design. Simple, yet effective.
