Description
I present you: My interpretation of Bahamut!---------------
Bahamut - He who could travel between different worlds and different times - he saw many thing and knows many things. When ever he travels through a portal or was summoned by someone, his appearance would transform changing according to the rules of this new world.

Really epic lighting on this piece. I especially love the design of the head and legs; almost sinewy
and skinned, almost giving the impression that Bahamut was not in full power when summoned.
My suggestion would be to maybe not have cut off the right wing and have all four wings open
only half-way as he was coming out of a portal that way. I also think his hind legs could be
a little straighter and closer to each other. I think the reverse triangle composition for a figure
depicts more power.
I also could imagine a summoner in the foreground with arms raised.
I really dig the design of this Bahamut. Keep it up!

Thanks a lot - so happy you like it!
I see what you say about the wings and the legs. Awesome ideas actually!
Those legs really bugged my for quite some while and I think with your suggestion they would look better indeed - might change that some time!
The suggestion about the wings is also great, it would definitely make them look less boring (but more difficult to draw).
I also really need to train my people drawing skill - a summoner would be a great idea, since it would give it some kind of a size comparison and would improve the composition a bit. And summoners are awesome anyway.
Thanks a lot for your feed back, it's a great help and encouraging!

Always happy to help a fellow artist!
Yeah, I think the summoner would add a lot
to say in terms of scale. Just recently, I saw art
for Magic: the Gathering from one of my favorite
artists, Tyler Jacobson. It was a dragon, too,
and when I zoomed into the illustration, I was amazed
that he actually put really tiny scale indicators.
Really made the piece look amazing.
No problem! I hope I'm able help more in the future.
Keep it up!

Has Tyler Jacobson also an account on DA? Sounds like an artist I would love to watch

Thanks a lot
I'm really asking myself if I should upload a detail head view (since it is so small here and I spent a while working on it), but since the main piece is getting not that much attention, a detail view probably gets even less - or not?
