It really says something for the series that the individual classified as "Lawful Good" has the quote about personally killing criminals.

Β When did we start using Social, Rebel, Impure, and Moral?Β

It's the extended version of the vanilla 9-spot alignment chart. Having to choose only 9 characters was just too hardΒ

What exactly do those three mean?

Social means it's a character at ease in society, respected (or feared) because of their status. Rebel is the opposite, people who turned their back on society, to follow a different path. Moral and impure are lighter versions of good and evil.
Of course, not all the characters are 100% well placed, many of them have had changing personnalities.

He sounded pretty serious while saying that, and it seems to stick with his personnality.. But well, I didn't read all the books too so I'm not gonna affirm anything

Very fun chart. Should Sansa really be on the good side? Don't recall her ever doing a good deed for anyone. Barristan is pretty much exactly like Ned when it comes to alignment. I will say that is a interesting spot for Bronn, completely accurate but not what I'd expect. All in perspective I guess. Where would you place Cersei? Is she a villain? Most likely, but a villain guided towards looking out for her miserable child.

You're right. I think I should have switched Sansa and Sam since he's way more involved in helping others. For Cersei, I wouldn't say that she is a villain but you can't deny that she truly despises everyone she considers "inferior" to her. I think she would fit well in a neutral section, but which one? I don't know. And about Bronn, where would you place him?

Its a good placement for Bronn, perfectly accurate, just kinda outside the box as hes Tyrion's right hand man and Tyrion is one of the few clear cut heroes. I guess even a hero can rely on a badguy who do what needs to be done.

Everyone can rely on a guy like Bronn as long as he pays him

Very interesting. My only gripe would be that Ramsay Snow is WAY beyond impure, especially compared to the others in that category. Joffrey only barely manages to edge him out of the chaotic evil slot. That's the thing with GoT/ASoIaF though; it's pretty much impossible to put the characters into neat little boxes. Jaime is a great example. His establishing character moment was pushing a little kid out of a window and crippling him for life, yet I like him for some reason. That's why I love this series.

I strongly hesitated with ramsay. But I can tell you I didn't find any better place for him, and I wanted him to appear here x) Iplan to make another alignment chart with other characters, maybe this time ramsay will be at Joffrey's place !Β
