Back in 2011 i even had a gender swap contest on MkRebirth ..with a surprising big interest by the group members..if i remember it right around 40 participated in that one and created some quite obscurre but also funny and good looking female scorpions, quan chi's etc. That Male Mileena [link] still gives me nightmares.
The MK Tribute..over 230 artworks are drawn now but around 55 MK character designs are still available and its not easy to find artists lately since MK is not very popular at the moment. Many of the artworks even submitted recently are crazy good however.
The quality of the submissions raised in terms of detailism i think. You can see all entries uploaded on dA here [link]

not too bad here. i'd say to remove the cheek lines as they make her seem older. but beyond that quite sexy and well done.
