Isn't he adorable?!?!?!I found him today and relocated him to a safer place. There's been a lot of construction around my place recently, and I guess all of the noise scared him out of his hiding place.
By the way, do you like my claws...I mean nails?
Girls complement me all the time, but guys tend to cringe.

I cried when I went to release her though because the car window was open and she managed to get out of the transport box and out the window before I could grab her and the car behind us ran her over. She kept slithering though and we couldn't find her afterwards, so I really hope she's okay, I'd feel so bad if after taking care of her all winter she died because of me.... TTATT

Oh geez...that's terrible. I'm so sorry that happened! If it's any consolation, if she kept moving after she was hit, more than likely she did not have any critical damage. Snakes are extremely tough creatures and are built to withstand heavy pressure. I've personally witnessed a rattlesnake recuperate itself after being ran over by a large truck. As long as she kept moving after being hit, I'm sure she survived.
That's such an awful feeling to lose an animal that you try to help. About 2 weeks ago, I found an orphaned new born rabbit in my backyard. I took him in in hopes of finding a animal hospital or animal reserve to take him in since I'm not experience in caring for wild rabbits. Unfortunately no one would take him, so I had to try to save him myself. He was with me for 3 days and was responding very well under my care. The following night I went to feed him and found him dead. I cried for days over losing him. He was so young and never even had the chance to open his eyes.

I felt so bad because after having her for the whole winter with my mom saying over and over that I had to let her go as soon as it was warm enough, my mom actually said I could keep her if I wanted to. I decided to let her go though because as it was getting warmer she was getting more and more restless and I thought she'd enjoy life more if she was in the wild again instead of an increasingly smaller cage in my bedroom (she grew ALOT!)
Yeah babies are hard to take care of, the summer before last summer a storm blew down a robin's nest with three babies, I took care of them for a day, then put the nest back up where it had been and the momma came back! I was so releived.
