Description
Combat Outpost Reyes was named after Staff Sergeant (E-6) Alex Reyes, an NCO attached to the 1st Paramarine Battalion who was KIA in Hasra Province this February. SSgt. Reyes was assigned to A.Co, 1st Paramarine Battalion after completing indoctrination program in 2009 and he served two tours in the Yuktobanian theater as a support gunner. When combat operation in Yuktobania ended, he opted to remain in the battalion as a indoctrination program cadet conducting assessment and selection on new recruits for assignment in the regiment. In 2014 when Osea's involvement in Romny intensified, he received orders to return to combat duty. Since then he had completed ten combat rotations. He lost his live in February 2017 during a HVT direct assault raid in Hasra Province.

Two of the Paramarine infantrymen in this photo went through Paramarine indoctrination program together, even though they went to separate battalions they still remember him dearly.
