Battle Flow/Battle Story: *from our RP*

*is favoring his right side right now, in general, for both the heavy blow from before that swatted him away, and from the strike to his foot. He gauges the fight between himself and Vandel, and knows with two daggers, he has little chance against the heavily-armored Vandel and his long-reaching sword. If only.... He remembers his spear; he can see it, vaguely amidst the heavy rain, behind Vandel a little ways, and he grins with an idea - if he can get it to work. Swiftly pulling his other knife, he charges straight in, ignoring protesting muscles and throwing one of his knives as he nears straight towards Vandel's face once more*
*though his vision is still swimming from the last hit to the face, Vandel spots the glint of the throwing knife as it speeds its way towards his face. As he prepares to jump away, he sees Edwin charging him...with eyes focused on something...behind? Mind racing into overdrive, Vandel suddenly has a very crazy idea. One that is crazy enough to work. Against all odds, he catches the flying knife in between his teeth, cutting his tongue as he does so, but this leaves him in position to unleash a spinning sweep that cuts horizontally towards Edwin, while his foot sweeps back and brushes whatever is behind him away*
*leaping as he neared, as was his plan from the beginning, Edwin's gaze is pinned on the spear as he clears Vandel's sword by a hair's breadth. He follows the spear as flies through the air, landing just behind Vandel and catching it with a foot that slides through the mud, for once the slick floor working in advantage. He flips it into his hand and turns-*
*Cursing as his plan goes awry, he spits out the knife and spins the other way, sword lashing out, cleaving a clear path through the rain as it meets the spearhead straight on, just in time for a flash of lightning to light up the coliseum grounds-*
