Description Rome
August 2005

Spiral staircase in the exit area of the Vatican Museum. This is maybe something that `coxi would like?

Edit: Okey this is really starting to piss me off. Every image I upload here is so much darker than it is when I work on them i photoshop. So keep that in mind if you find this photo too dark.

yes, I didn't really think about their position to be honest. There were too many of them! Absolutely packed hehe

This is very cool. most photos that i've seen of staircases like this have no people on them. however i really like the people on this one, it adds a lot to the photo. great shot!

Great shot!

I highly doubt that the image changes in anyway from your computer to the server. Are you viewing the image on a different monitor? Is the color space the same from your PSD to your output? I would guess either one of thoose is the problem over the DA server. Although, I have been wrong before and I will be wrong again.

I'm viewing the images from the same monitor. Others have the same problem...I'm no expert so I have no idea why this happens. Annoying all the same hehe (:

I like how the darkness spirals in to light with the staircase.
You should look into a Print Account. I did, and its worked for me.

oshed In reply to A-Soldiers-End [2005-08-19 14:54:00 +0000 UTC]

yes..maybe i should. but isn't it hard to figure out what you should charge for your prints?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

A-Soldiers-End In reply to oshed [2005-08-20 04:46:02 +0000 UTC]

To start off just charge the base price... I don't worry about making a profit right now. You can always change the price later if you start selling a whole lot of prints.

I like it a lot I think that's about the best I can put it. Just a simple effective picture that really does it for me. Be nice to have available as a print.

oshed In reply to Serenity007 [2005-08-19 11:19:56 +0000 UTC]

really? I've never thought of having a print account since i'm not that popular on DA so I wouldn't profit from it.. maybe some time in the future.
thanks for your kind words!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Serenity007 In reply to oshed [2005-08-19 12:19:47 +0000 UTC]

I don't think you need a print account in order for it to be available for print and to be entitled to 10% profit. You do get more profit from a print account but i'm not really bothered about selling my stuff, I just like people to be able to get hold of it if they really want to. Is that you in your DA:ID by the way? Quite cute
