Description
Amalgams were the topic of a drawing challenge we had at work. Amalgams in this instance consist of a cross between a DC and Marvel comic character. I chose to combine Mr. Freeze and Doctor Octopus. I knew I wanted to preserve as much of the classic Mr. Freeze as I could and I thought a smart guy like him could really benefit from some extra hands of his own instead of some useless goons which I never thought made any sense. As different as these characters may be, I found an interesting similarity in their back stories. Super powers aside I guess they're pretty similar.
