No, Zilla Sr. does NOT deserve the title Godzilla. He is weak, he was killed by FUCKING MISSLES, got tied on a bridge THAT WAS HALF HIS FUCKING SIZE, SERIOUSLY. And he didn't have atomic breath. Zilla Sr. was a horrible excuse for a Godzilla. Decent as a separate kaiju, but a horrible wreck as a Godzilla. Only Zilla Jr. is worthy of the title, not his father.

in MY opinion this is the best Godzilla
he was just a creature that wants to live its life, he wasn't the "hero of the world" like the more famous one was
sure he died to missiles but to also put it into perspective shin Godzilla was heavily damaged by them and also bleeds heavily from the gills, hell even the 2014 one got hurt when hit in the gills, nothing is indestructible
i also hear people say he couldn't breath flames, i always thought he did but i hear that was fuel or something, i feel like fire makes more sense than igniting car fuel so i guess i just saw it as that

I assumed you haven't heard of the Japanese Godzilla, and me being me, i rushed in without thinking and got defensive, thinking you were loosely saying "Zilla Sr's better than Godzilla". I don't want to start some flame war bc of our different opinions. If you think Zilla Sr. could ever be somewhat a Godzilla, fine. I like Zilla Jr. I believe he is worthy of the title! Its Zilla Sr. that did NOTHING to earn the title of Godzilla. He didn't have atomic breath, he was physically weak, he got killed easily by human weaponry (which was by far, the BIGGEST insult to Godzilla Roland could ever conceive in the film) and got tied up by a bridge that was half his size and could have been smashed down easily! In my opinion, Zilla Jr. is a true Godzilla, he has atomic breath, he was powerful, he was much more durable than his father, he won every fight he had with other kaiju, but his father failed horribly trying to be Godzilla. If Zilla Sr. were a separate kaiju, he would be a decent kaiju on his own. But he failed to meet even ONE qualification to be considered a Godzilla. Think about this: what if we get a Transformeers movie about Grimlock, but in the movie, Grimlock is portayed as a tiny Minicon dinosaur that doesn't breathe fire, doesn't say "Me Grimlock", he's a coward, and he's weak. How would you feel if they portrayed Grimlock like that? Wouldn't you feel they messed up his character? I respect your opinion, alright? If Zilla Sr. can be a Godzilla in some shape or form, fine, he can be a Godzilla. I really DO like your artwork, though. Its excellent, no doubt about it.
