So I'm one of the thousands of X-Men fans that HATED the costumes used in the X-Men movies... Yeah, thanks FOX... I am, however, not one of those people that demands yellow and blue spandex outfits either. I think there is a way for movies to have super heroes wearing a believable outfit, whilst also staying true to the source material. I loved the Avengers for one reason (well lots of reasons but one main reason) because I got to see the super heroes I grew up with on the big screen, looking like themselves. SO... here is one of the concepts of a Wolverine suit, I've drawn. Unfinished, of course. Just pen and pencil.I was going with the HULK vs WOLVERINE story line as a base. A suit maybe S.H.I.E.L.D. gave him (slightly different from the original story but, hey, artistic licence) something that is an advanced military/athletic/S.H.I.E.L.D.-esque suit but doesn't tell the whole world S.H.I.E.L.D. was involved in this not so kosher take down of the HULK. Khaki and dark air force blue colours.
Again, it's not a final design... so be gentle.

Look I like the yellow suit as much as anyone but it doesn't fit Wolverine at all. Why would a no non sense badass where something with such obnoxious and bright colors?
also the Avengers colors are extremely dull and muted. I mean Captain America looked more Brown, Gray, and Teal than Red White and Blue. Even the DCEU suits in all of Snyder's desaturation is more vibrant and rich. It isn't like they haven't been vibrant I though the Avengers was vibrant along with the other phase One movies but now they look so dull and faded

I like it! It is simple, and...just good! Perfect for a movie adaptation.
The only problem is his ugly mask...I have no idea if someone can make it look NOT stupid in a film...

this is an awesome design! it reminds me of the costumes used in the First Class film, which were waaaay better than the original X-Men film costumes. this seems like a realistic, practical way to design superhero outfits. nicely done!
