Taking a break from playing wii U I came on here checking messages using my iphone and to my surprise I noticed a familiar drawing COLORED. I was like "how freakin awesome!!" I was laying in bed and must have zoomed in and stared at this for about 10 whole minutes before deciding to jump on the laptop and write a message. This poor sketch is now actually appealing. You used colors in areas I would never think of. My favorite areas you colored are like the sky, land, grass, and mushrooms. That part reminded me of your Cueva deviation. I like your colorful imagination. I was asked how I would have colored certain areas and I think you have done a much better job. For example the pipe, I would have done it but I'm just not sure if I would have liked it as much as your take on it. I would have used brown or red boots... mistake. White looks better. Also I thought how ridiculous this outfit would look in pink because of my design and now I completely disagree with myself. I got to thinking if I could hire you, your job would be to color everything I draw Thank you for making this sketch much better than it was. This is like deviation of the year in my eyes, so it can be my christmas present K? Thank you very much!!!!

I'm actually pretty slow at EVERYTHING I DO. I debate over the colors a lot, so selection tools & Ctrl+H in photoshop are my friends
looking back at Cueva, I feel like it's too busy, I would definitively color it differently <: D But that's the thing about art, huh? EXPERIMENTING!!

...I'm slow at coloring too, I get sort of uneasy when coloring. I get like an anxiety attack just trying to stay inside the lines. I think I need to stay away from sugar or something but when drawing I can move very fast. And that seems more satisfying or comfortable. So yeah I kind of hate to color and just prefer drawing. I don't use selection tools very well and what does is ctrl + H do? I will have to see what that is. I use ctrl + alt + Z more than anything XD... That is undo previous step lol. Well I liked 'Cueva' cause your nintendo stuff is the best : ) yw, it's so awesome I had submitted this to all the peach groups I could find which was like six or seven I think lol, it needs exposure. Alrighty well I'm in the mood to shop today. I think I might go buy hyrule warriors or something. I need a new game... ttyl!

I can totally attest to how fast you draw! From my experience on Whiteboard, you end up drawing all over the board while I still work on one picture!! XD Deepo is quite unstoppable!! ∑(꒪◡ ꒪)
OOPS, I meant to say Ctrl+U. It brings up the Hue/Saturation box. I use it to edit my colors. I work all the base colors in one layer without really caring much for the EXACT tones/hues I want at first, just mostly to distinguish everything & keeping it within the lines. Admittedly, the most boring part of coloring, but VERY important! With all the basic colors in one layer, I can easily select all the areas with, say green or like colors, & change it around with Ctrl+H as I do my shading & whatnot in top layers. Using selections as well as the Alt+click feature, it helps me stay within the lines.
So yea, I change the hue/tone of my colors a lot until I get a good feel for them. <: D
i also normally hit a wall DURING coloring, unsure of which direction or style I want to go. It will depend on the picture. so I think it's it's normal to stress?? ^^b Maybe it just means you're working on something you care about.
OHHH I know Zelda games aren't your favorite, but if you do like smashing a lot of enemies, Hyrule Warriors is really fun. You can play with another person too! But one will have the big screen & the other the mere wii pad screen.. < : D & I really love the Link's spinner, if you buy the amiibo, you can get it!

If only I were unstoppable Thanks for the helpful tips in photoshop, I shall make use of that the next time I am feeling experimental in photoshop. And did I tell you Zelda games are not my favorite? lol. I don't remember if I did. I like Zelda and Link, I just kind of prefer the old Link from nes and snes. After that point I lost interest in Zelda games due to my childhood fascination being aimed elsewhere. I still luvs nintendo tho Osh! And I think we need to scrap that meme we started on long ago and create our own.

Ctrl +H is a command for "extras" which I have no idea what that does. I have selected a scribble using rectangular marquee tool and it seems to toggle what I selected on or off. ......idk. XD
Yes double meme, looking back at it, it was gold. I cherished it. But I figured your heart wasn't in it after I drew a poor picture of Wolf and puff. haha, that was bad. You deserve better than that.
When I say our own maybe we can think of fun questions that would make us want to draw. Maybe I can draw something, send it to you and you add to the picture. It can be smash bros
characters kind of like the recent sketch collab in my gallery. Simple, no color? Well it was just the thought. You got me in the nintendo mood all of a sudden o_o'
