Description
Homework for Artgerm 's class! :] Artgerm told us to write our favorite characters on a piece of paper + drop it into a bag. We all drew one out at random, and I got Commander Shepard haha (decided to draw the female one.) As someone who doesn't really know this character, I hope it looks okay!This is technically my second illustration using photoshop u_u

For 'someone who doesn't really know this character' i think You did a wonderfull work. I like it, a lot. You did certainly catch Shepard's nature and attitude. I can even tell, the one on Your art is about 70-80% renegate

I think you did a great job on her. I'm even happier that you decided to do the female version and not the male version (who is the default for most game merchandise including the covers of the game boxes themselves). I think she turned out pretty well and although I'd say this is not a match to the default, that is no bad thing. Actually, it's a good thing. Many people customise their characters, and it's no bad thing to make a Shepard unique because that in truth reflects what FemShep more came to represent: diversity and equality. Not just that *this* one woman could do the job, but that actually *all* these *women* (google FemShep for versions of how she might look) of all different colours and shapes could do the job. It's a shame we don't see so often the male version so widely customised as I think it'd be nice to show all the many faces that he could have, too.
