Description
What happens when you touch the dragon's treasure? This is an illustration for which the prompt was "Fantasy Knight". I don't often get the opportunity to illustrate these types of characters, so it was an interesting experience.
I used a slightly messier, more painterly approach to this, in which a majority of the piece was painted on one layer. I think it was enjoyable somewhat, but not always practical for larger illustrations with a lot of elements...---

Oh, nice illustration! So, when you touch the dragon's treasure you become the dragon instead? Her arm "exploding" beyond the armor and her hair flowing really make the composition dynamic! And I like how the light source is in her hand instead of outside, it gives a nice atmosphere to the whole piece. Also, the cape like cloth that looks like fire engulfing her is a nice touch ^w^

Whoa. The ornate details on the armour look great. I also love the faint dragon in her hand. I wonder if she's becoming a dragon or merely the dragons minion, either way it's a fun scene!
