Well I think It'll take more time. They just have meet after long time. And despite i think they will be together it take some times for their relation to develope  enough. Well even more sure cuples from MLP surely need more time...
So i definitely wouldn't expected Sunburst and Starlight wedding before 8th or meybe 9 season finale. Perhaps with some other wedding before it.

Well that would be quite reasonable I think.  But still proposal shouldn't be faster than that, and scuh quick only in case of some really good episodes about this two in season 7.
Such episodes are actualy quite possible considering such facts as Sunburst being Crystaler of Flurry(and it's sure that role of crystaler doesn't end at the ceremony, he is rather someon like godfather(or perhaps like godmother in some cases if mare is chosen for being crystaler)), and now rather every trip to Crystal Empire would be with Starlight... and now when Twilight is an aunt such trips could happen more often, so there is much place for such episodes and some good interection and relationship development between this two.
