Description
I took that photograph at midnight. It is not a Photoshop/Gimp etc. manipulation but a real photo.
Because everyone asks:
The light is from the city and the white rays are moving clouds. It's a long exposure (130 seconds).
It is a real photo.

yeah, it really looks sometimes that the sky is the shortest path to kingdom of gods, to halls of valhala and etc.

at first i taught that it was taken at dusk but then i saw star trails at full view... excellent shot... love the lights reflecting on the streaking clouds..

That certainly is a beautiful piece of work! I'm amazed there's so little noise on such a long shot.. I can't even see a hint of it!
I love how the stars shifted slightly over the 2+ minutes.

Thanks!
About the noise: By scaling down the original image to 1000px width, most of the noise was removed, the little rest I removed with the tool Neat Image (really good tool!).

Nope, your camera can do the long exposures aswell, you just need a cable remote (about $5) and use bulb in M-mode and you can shoot as long as you want.
