Description
I took that photograph at midnight. It is not a Photoshop/Gimp etc. manipulation but a real photo.
Because everyone asks:
The light is from the city and the white rays are moving clouds. It's a long exposure (130 seconds).
It is a real photo.

It's quite understandable why you haven't any negatives to offer about this work, it's amazing especially that you've acheived the image without photomanipulation. Very nice work anyway & congrats on the DD

It's indeed out of this world. Those rays of light are outstanding; they remind me a bit of aurora borealis. It's a fantastic capture.

I'm assuming thats a cellphone/radio tower dead center? It puts the movement of the 'clouds' well into perspective, of course with the great silohuetting. Great shot.

That one's great! G! How did you do to make everything not-too-bright? Big F number? I'm pretty curious.

Osiris81 In reply to Gwyneeth [2007-07-16 21:50:04 +0000 UTC]
Well I made it in the middle of the night, it was really dark, and because there are no bright lights (except of the tower) there is no problem. I mostly use F8 at night.
