Description
After some work, I've finally produced a map of Aren that I'm fairly happy with. It should contain most of the locations that are relevant to the Aren Bestiary, as well as some that may not get mentioned but I added for the sake of completeness anyway. I had to leave out rivers and mountain ranges for the sake of clarity (not enough space). I may have to make a separate map that includes those, at least the major ones. For the same reason I left out the borders of major geographical regions (the capitalized ones). I could make a series of maps if that interests anyone.
Xipharasia should be the right shape and size this time, but again no markings there because it is the hidden continent that no-one can go explore, at least yet.
I'm probably going to put the old world maps into scraps now that this is up, you can find them there if you are interested in the development of the world map of Aren.

Lost continents are always the best. Great map too, like something out of an rp campaign setting.

The one thing better than lost continents is lost continents with dinosaurs.
It would actually be awesome if Aren could one day be used as a setting for an RPG. I've written quite a huge deal about the peoples and history of the world that's not in any way relevant to the bestiary, so it'd be great if there was an actual use for all of it.

You mean a print? A large scale high resolution map would require quite a bit of reworking, because the current original is just 1200x800 pixels. Maybe I'll make that happen some day, but I need to learn more about mapmaking first. Especially when it comes to mountains!
