just masked levels adjustments in photoshop using the circular gradient. then added some dirty brush effects on top. oh and a colour adjustment layer. not much other than that.

Hmmm... I like this version much better. The composition is more pleasing to the eye. There is a lot of manipulation going on, but tastefully done. I think the square format compliments this. I'm not sure how I feel about the fake film negative added though.
