Excellently lit and the posture is certainly quite unqiue.
I know they may be you're tricks of the trade and fair enough if you'd prerfer to keep them to yourself...but how do you light you're subjects. I think it's fantastic!

My trick of the trade is that I almost always use one light source wether it's natural light, home electrical lights, a spotlight, or a softbox (like in this one). I just experiment with the angle of the light and I sometimes use a reflector (not in this case). I sometimes change some things in post work (such as colour temperature, hues, shadows etc.). I wish I could be more specific but I treat each piece differently and my post work is QUITE random because I do it by experimenting as if I was painting. What i mean is that if I "play" with a photograph in photoshop and save it on my hard disk and for some reason it gets lost, I really doubt that I could do it all over again and get the same results.

I'd like to have a go at building a softbox...if it is what I think it is, i'm pretty rookie though and should really get some books or something or yeah experiment more.

I'm prety sure you can find all that information in the www. I remember reading a forum in musecube about building a home made softbox but that was 2 years ago...
I've found that the more I shoot and the more i try to fix mistakes with postwork, the more I learn and avoid repeating the same mistakes.

Την ηθοποιό από το hardcore την θυμάμαι και συμφωνώ μαζί σου. Την άλλη φωτογραφία δεν την έχω δει. Ξέρεις αν υπάρχει κάπου μέσα στο ίντερνετ να την δώ;
Όπως τα περισσότερα μοντέλα μόδας γράφει καλά στον φακό.Το αξιοθαύμαστο ήταν ότι άλλαζε έκφραση προσώπου πολύ εύκολα και ήταν ικανή να πάρει εκφράσεις διαφορετικές από αυτές που τις μαθαίνουν και να είναι πολύ πειστική. Το styling και το μακιγιάζ...η Σίσσυ δεν ήταν μαζί μας. Εγώ διάλεξα τα ρούχα (από αυτά που είχε φέρει μαζί της ) και προσπάθησα να της εξηγήσω πως θα ήθελα να μακιγιαριστεί. Νομίζω ότι κατάλαβε πολύ καλά και φάνηκε να ξέρει από μακιγιάζ. Ο τρόπος που το βλέπω εγώ πιό creepy δεν έχει να κάνει με χαρακιές. 
Το κάδρο είναι του αρνητικού και μερικές φορές το βγάζει λίγο στραβό το scanner αλλά επειδή μου άρεσε αυτό το εφέ φοβήθηκα μην το χαλάσω ισιώνοντάς το. Αυτό που δεν μου αρέσει στο φόντο του dA είναι ότι δεν αφήνει ελεύθερο χώρο πάνω και κάτω από την φωτογραφία και με αναγκάζει να κάνω αλχημείες για να τον "κλέψω"
Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ και για το αστεράκι αλλά και για το μπλα-μπλα που σπανίζει λίγο εδώ μέσα

Αυτό ακριβώς ήταν το παραπονό της. Οτί δεν της λέω ακριβώς τι να κάνει δηλαδή. Όμως κάπως έτσι δουλεύω πάντα. Θέλω οι εκφράσεις να είναι του μοντέλου και όχι υπαγορευμένες από εμένα. Καμμιά φορά λέω τι κλίμα περίπου θέλω να καταφέρουμε και κάποιοι το "πιάνουν" και η φωτογράφιση κυλάει άνετα. Με κάποιους άλλους δυσκολεύομαι να συνεργαστώ γιατί έχουν μάθει να συνεργάζονται πολύ διαφορετικά με άλλους φωτογράφους.

I'm not sure what the etymology of "amateur" is in English...but for the Greek version of the word it's "lover of the art" and thet sounds a hell of a lot better than "professional".

This is nothing short from hypnotizing. Amazing capture. I love the way I sort of have to stare at it... Very commanding expression, mysterious, seemingly very expressionless but charged with emotion.
All that combined with the way you edit, it's amazing. It looks like everything is white, but fuck... It isn't. The soft toning and slight blueish desaturation looks rather delicious and captivating.
