It was very knd of you to suggest *ton-e 's piece
Thank you for making her one of your favourites my dear Holly
The tones? Actually this reminded me a bit of some of your pieces
I don't follow the same path each time in post work. I experiment as if I was painting.

Andre
The camera I mostly use for my personal work is a hasselblad 503cw. It's a very expensive camera and not supposed to be very handy cause it's completely manual (it doesn't even have a light meter on it), but the images I've got from it are top notch. I just looked at your new images and I see that you have also used a hasselblad. It took me a long time to get used to it and also get used to the square format but now I'm in love with that camera and the square format. I was using a Nikon Scanner until it stopped working properly due to software conflicts (at least that's what the Nikon service people kept saying ) and the images I was scanning (if the scanner worked) were beautiful but it was such a long and nerve-killing procedure. I then bought an ESPSON PERFECTION 4870 which made excellent scans and it was VERY MUCH cheaper than the Nikon. In November I bought the new version (EPSON PERFECTION 4990 photo) and it's very good, even though I still haven't seen a great difference from the 4870. But here comes the secret about the unbelievable details my friend....
...you can do that with photoshop no matter which camera and which scanner you use

this is very long and very informative post, thank you very much ostanice
as for your information, no, i dont have any medium format.. if i have money instead buying/upgrading digital camera which i am already bored, i'd like to try this system...
looking at your portrait, definitely there so much different with my DSLR system, i want to plunge into it, you become my master here .. , last point i agree, we can do that with photoshop, but i want to use very little photoshop, providing grainy and details from the film ..
thanks again mate
