haha another art for my ap portfolio.many of u may know the Lava Swimmer
for the weekly monster thingy... or whatever. (i have no clue)
alot of great artists made creatures with the name 'lava swimmer'
the theme is kinda old, but i still wanted to try drawing one.
basically, i'm getting my art portfolio done, and practicing painting with photoshop at the same time. it's pretty fun. lol
not much is known about this creature.
however, many scientists believe that it retrieves it's nutrition thru it's skin because it doesn't seem to have any opening for a digestive track. so the nutrition(whatever there is under lava) is absorbed by the skin, and waste is released also thru skin, perhaps as lava bubbles. lol
it is also hypothesized that it reproduces asexually thru budding.
it is a wonder how any living creature can live under such a scorching heat.
scientists believe that the creature itself produces incredible amount of heat that is similar to the lava around them.
it's origin and it's life span are unknown.

Woah, that's pretty cool! If it wasn't for the shadows on it, the way that you've done the background would make it seem as though the light is coming from it. As it is, it looks more like the light is behind it. Very cool (or maybe "very hot" would be more appropriate
